Ephraim Willis, age 85, of Del Rio, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012. He was a member of Round Mountain Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents James Wiley Willis and Anna Mae Banks Willis, sisters and brothers-in-law Viola and Jim Fox of Marion, NC, Lucy and Brown Messer of Del Rio, brothers and sisters-in-law Roy and Dorothy Willis of Del Rio, Monroe and Carolyn Willis of Newport, brothers-in-law Lovell Fox, K.V. Young, Claude Grigsby, Jr. Walker, sister-in-law Stella Gregg Willis, special nephews Jimmy Walker and Eugene Walker. Survivors include his brothers U.A. Willis, Paul Willis, sisters Jeanette Young, Rachel Fox, Beulah Grigsby, Vista Walker, sisters and brothers-in-law Thelma and Junior Hill, Katheleen and Delbert Toby, special nephews he helped raise Willie Walker and Dallas Walker, along with several nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by a host of friends and church family. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Strange and Rev. Mike Elkins officiating. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Clark Cemetery (Deep Gap). The family will receive from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the services at the funeral home. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Willis family.
