Nella Cook Hill, age 77, of Gatlinburg, entered into heavenly rest on August 3, 2008. She joined her beloved husband, Johnny Ray Hill. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Mintha Cook, brothers, Dewey, Dott, and Doyle Cook, and sisters, Margie Cook and Bernice Cook Roberts.
She was a member of Glades Lebanon Baptist Church, where she served as church clerk for many years. She was also a weaving designer for Arrowcraft Shop of Gatlinburg for over 40 years.
Survived by loving sister, June Parrott and husband Paul, who were her caregivers, devoted niece, Susan Romines and husband Scott and their children, Stephen and Sara, devoted nephew, Jerome Parrott and wife Becky, her twin sister, Faye Cook, sisters, Edna Howard, Katie Blalock, Veryl Monhollen, and Shelby Valentine, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet 10 AM Tuesday at Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens for graveside service and interment with Rev. Jim McGill officiating. Arrangements by Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
