Mary Evelyn Greene Maltman age 78, a resident of Prattville, Alabama, went to be with God in her Heavenly mansion on Wednesday, March 24, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Joseph Maltman Jr., her parents Isaac W. and Hassel B. Greene, and her sisters Annalou Oneal, Norma Greene and Jean G. Keller Sparks. Evelyn graduated from Everett High School in 1950 and Fort Sanders School of Radiologic Technology in 1971. She then worked in her chosen career field until her retirement in 1992. She is survived by six children, Kenneth Joseph Maltman III, Sanford Duncan Maltman (Linda), Jeffrey Lynn Maltman, Toni Virginia Saylor (Bob), Kimberly Maltman Collar (David), and Tracey Lea Hodges (Steve); three sisters, Madge G. Cable, Margaret G. Sullivan, and Ruth G. Hundley (Floyd); and one brother, Jack Greene. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Smith Trinity Chapel in Maryville, Tennessee. Entombment will follow at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel.
