GAYLOR, JR. ROBERT (BOBBY) S. - age 48 of Knoxville, passed away Friday March 9, 2001 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by father, Robert S. Gaylor, Sr.; mother and step father, Wilma June Walker Matorin and Harry Matorin; brother, Caswell (Buster) Roberts; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cas Walker, Mrs. And Mrs. Charles Gaylor.
Survivors: wife of 28 years, Brenda Bennecker Gaylor; daughters and sons in law, Robyn and Karl Ackermann, Joy and Tim Childress; son and daughter in law Bobby and Petrona Cross; grandchildren, Tyler, Karly, and Jory Childress, Taylor and McKenzie Cross; brother and sister in law Tary and Judy Gaylor; brothers in law and sisters in law, Jerry and Patricia Bennecker, Charles and Marie Bennecker; niece, Angie Stokes; nephews, Eric Bennecker, Ashley, Tary, Jr. and Brandon Gaylor; several aunts, uncles, cousins, great nephews, great nieces, and a host of very dear friends; devoted companions, Sally and Lady. Pallbearers will be Wayne Robinson, Larry Pollard, Brian Day, Gary Sellers, Dale Rhoton, Kevin Ackerman. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts may be made to the American Lung Assoc. One Vantage Way, Suite C-250 Nashville, Tenn. 37228 or Sevier Heights Baptist Church "Building Fund" 3232 Alcoa Highway Knoxville, Tenn. 37920. Funeral services will be Monday 1 p.m. at Berry Chapel with the Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
