FADDIS , GAIL C. IVENS - age 50, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2003, at U. T. Medical Center, after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She attended First Apostolic Church. Preceded in death by her father, Harold C. Ivens. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Melanie Faddis and grandson, Brannon of Lenoir City mother, Reba Blazier Ivens sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Bill Shipwash brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Vanessa Ivens nieces, Kelly Shipwash, and Chloe and Madason Ivens nephew, Scott Shipwash, all of Knoxville, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers and staff at St. Mary's Holston Healthcare Center. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at First Apostolic Church, 5020 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Knoxville, TN 37912, with the service to follow at 8 p.m., Bishop Billy McCool and Pastor Mark McCool officiating. Friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be provided by the U. S. Navy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis National Society, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, or First Apostolic Church.
