GALBRAITH, CHRISTINE GADDIS - age 70, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2002, at 5:45 p.m., at St. Mary's Residential Hospice, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of Basswood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her loving parents, John and Vesta Gaddis ; brothers, Charles (Scrap), Jimmy and Glen; brothers-in-law, Ted Benton, Jimmy Houston, and Charles Boles; daughter, Kim Van Huss Lee, and great-granddaughter, Teresa Marlow. Left behind to cherish her memories, son, Ronnie Sims and daughters, Gail Hampton and Teresa Moore; sons-in-law, Scott Lee and Barry Moore; brothers, John (Bud) and Wanda Gaddis , and David Gaddis ; sisters, Wilma Houston of Indiana, and Mildred Benton and Rosemary Boles, both of Knoxville; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Gaddis , and grandchildren, Melissa Marlow, Lynn and Elana Hall, Danny and Lisa Hall, Cathy and Mike Clift, Shannon and Shane Sims, Jessica Van Huss, Tyler and Hannah Lee; 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Special friends, Willie Moore and Anna Lee, and Clarence McDowell, and the staff of Lonsdale Day Care. Funeral service 8 p.m. Tuesday, Mynatt's Chapel, Rev. Larry Cash and Rev. Ross Williford officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and proceed to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an interment service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Mary's Residential Hospice of Halls, or the United Way for Lonsdale Day Care. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mynatt's,
