PIPER , WILLIAM MORGAN - passed away April 25, 2003 at his home. He was an Alumni of Boys Town High School, Boys Town Nebraska. He was a US Navy veteran, serving in the South Pacific during WW II. Retired from U.S Postal Service, long time Knox County school bus driver. Preceded in death by parents, Horace and Ila Piper son, Col. Dennis Piper . Survived by wife, Betty daughters, Peggy Blevins of Knoxville, Carolyn Irwin of Ala. son, John Piper of Knoxville several grandchildren sisters, Emma Clendenen of Nashville, Louise Cox of Morristown and Anna Piper of Crossville. Family will receive friends Monday, April 28, 2003 from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday prior to the memorial service in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy.
