MARGARET LICHLYTER DENNIS, age 89 of Dandridge, TN went home to with her Lord on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at Jefferson County Nursing Home. She was a long standing member of First Baptist Church of Dandridge. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceded in death by parents. Hal and Florence Lichlyter; sisters, Gladys Fox and Bernice Shropshire; son, Neal Dennis and son in law, Harold Hance. Survived by husband of 71 years, James Edwin Dennis; children and their spouses, Keith and Doris Dennis, Janice Hance, Brenda and Carl Shaver and Donna and Dave Kosak, all of Dandridge, Rita and Jim Ball of Louisville, Ky, Norma and David Prizer of Newport, TN, Dale and Candy Dennis of Knoxville; daughter in law, Linda Dennis of White Pine; sisters and brothers, Frances Dennis, Hubert Lichlyter, Paul Lichlyter, Helen Bradley, Ralph Lichlyter and Vivian Grice, all of Dandridge; 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Dandridge with Dr. Robert McCray officiating. Graveside interment service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday prior to the service at the church.
