Darris Brent Clabo, age 58 of Sevierville passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
Darris was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, where he taught an Adult Sunday School Class. He was employed by the Great Smoky Mountain National Park as trail maintenance supervisor of the Tennessee side.
Darris enjoyed sports, especially playing golf and baseball. He played baseball in high school, at Hiwassee College and later with the Kodak Reds, an over age 30 traveling team.
He enjoyed working with young people both at church and with the park service. He was a devoted fan of the Pigeon Forge High School Tigers and the Wearwood Elementary Wildcats.
Darris was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co-workers and community.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Lora Clabo, Walter and Alice Hatcher; brother-in-law, Randy Myers; father-in-law, Rev. Herbert Etherton.

The family will receive friends 4 PM – 6:45 PM Friday at Valley View Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 7 PM at the church. Pastor Preston Joslin will officiate.
