KETNER , JESSE H., JR. (JUNIOR) - age 72 of Knoxville, formerly of Jefferson County, passed away Thursday morning at St. Mary's Residential Hospice after a short illness. He was a member of the Baptist faith, and Korean War veteran in the US Army. Survived by daughter and son in law, Linda and Leigh Chagnon; grandchildren, Allison and Steve Chagnon; mother, Bertie Mae Ketner ; sister and brother in law, Edna and Jack King; brothers and sisters in law, Eugene "Red" and Lois Ketner , Earl and Tillie Ketner ; devoted uncle and aunt, Ray and Dot Ketner and their special daughters and sons in law, Sue and "Big" Dale Drinnon, Teresa and "Little" Dale Derrick, Denise and Donnie Creekmore; brothers and sister in law, Charlie and Audra Huskey, Bill and Juanita Huskey, David and Christina Huskey; and many nieces and nephews and special friends. Estranged wife and daughter, Hazel Ketner and Janice Clifford. Special thanks to the St. Mary's Home and Residential Hospice, especially Marty Poole. Funeral service 7 p.m. Saturday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel. Rev. Ron Mouser and Rev. Chris Beaver officiating. Family and friends will meet at Hills Union United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dandridge at 2:45 p.m. Sunday for a 3 p.m. interment service. Pallbearers: Steve Chagnon, Dale Derrick, Dale Drinnon, Donnie Creekmore, Scott Drinnon, Robert Ray Cate, Charlie Huskey, Bill Huskey. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Gentry-Griffey Chapel.
