A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Overland Court Senior Living Center, 10250 W. Smoke Ranch Dr. in Boise. Nona was born in Glentana, Montana on May 30, 1927 to Elwood and Ilo Marston. They moved to north Idaho where she grew up. She was married to Junior Ownby on September 13, 1944 in Vale, Oregon. They had 3 daughters, Shirley, Joyce and Velta. She worked at Lucky Peak Tree Nursery. She loved living in the country. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and tending to farm animals. She traveled throughout her life and enjoyed taking the RV south for many winters. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, 4 sisters Gwen, Ethel, LaVonne Verna and 1 brother Bill as well as her eldest daughter Shirley in 2009. She is survived by 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as many nephews and nieces. We would like to thank the caregivers at Overland Court and Horizon Hospice for all the wonderful care our mom was given. She will be missed by all.
