GRAVES, CARL FRANK - age 78 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2003 at East Tennessee Baptist Hospital. He attended 3rd Street Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Army, was retired from ALCOA Aluminum Company, was a member of the ALCOA 25 Year Service Club and was a member of the D.A.V. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ella Graves stepmother, Grace Graves brothers, Wayne and Albert Graves and Issac Green sisters, Alice Byerley, Alene Cummings, Eva Caughron, Lillie Rogers and Illa Garner . Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Nellie Long Graves sons, Benny Graves and Gary Graves both of Maryville special daughter-in-law, Carolyn Graves of Maryville grandson, Jeff Graves and wife Jennifer granddaughter, Kim Gardener and husband Aaron great granddaughter, Kelsey Gardener sisters, Nellie Cagle, Willie Jean Miller and Lucille Green brothers-in-law, Bruce Rogers and Audley Garner several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends special friend, Shirley Brantley. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Hickman and Rev. Paul Dyar officiating. The interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Dotson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Thursday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
