He was a member of Corryton Baptist Church and was employed by Absolute Lawns. Survivors include: his son, Malachai Andrew Nance of Knoxville father, John D. Nance of Knoxville mother, Melissa Bondie of Newport, N.C. step-mother, Lesley Price of Knoxville half-sister, Christy Bray of Newport, N.C. step-sister, Jessica Price of Knoxville grandmother and step-grandfather, Emma and John Favorito of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and grandfather and step-grandmother, Frank and Alice Nance of Corryton.
