Albert Morrow, 76, of Del Rio, passed away Tuesday morning at his home following a short illness.
He was a member of the Edwina Church of God in Jesus Name.
Albert was a veteran of World War II and a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Morrow; parents, Bertie and Tommy Morrow; sisters, Zorie Morrow; and brothers, Jodie, Lawson and Walter Morrow.
Survivors include his children, Imogene and her husband, Roger Sheets of Florence, South Carolina, Donald and his wife, Doris Morrow, Wanda Sparks, Benny Morrow and his wife, Maria, Susie Coggins, and Timothy Morrow, all of Newport, and James Morrow and his wife, Pamela of Del Rio; sisters, Victoria Jenkins of Cosby; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside military rites will be provided by Lance Corporal Charles C. Roberts Chapter 102 D.A.V.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Brown Funeral Chapel with Rev. Allen Williams ofÞciating. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at the Brown Funeral Home.
