LETT, PAUL EDWARD, SR. - age 75 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at his home in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith. Paul was a truck driver for 30 years. He was happily married for 54 years. Paul was a great daddy, papaw, and a super husband. He will never be forgotten and will be missed dearly. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Shirley Pratt Lett; children, Vickie Estes, Paul Lett, Jr., Pamela Vandergriff, Gary Lett; loving son-in-law, Doug Vandergriff; loving daughter-in-law, Carlene Ellis Lett; grandchildren, Jennifer and Paul Jenkins, Jessica and Melia Estes, Josh and Rachel Vandergriff, Kimberly and Ashley Ellis; great-grandchildren, Jerikha, Madison, Zachary, Brooklyn, Jackson, Chloa; sisters, Elizabeth Swan of Seymour, TN; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Covenant Health Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2010, with Rev. Clyde Haynes officiating at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. Interment will be private. Online condolences may be sent to www.rosemortuary.com. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
