Donald “Don” Prouty, age 66 of Dandridge went home to our Lord on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loving wife. He was an employee of Bush Brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore William Prouty and Jeanne Marguerite Hawick. Survivors include: Devoted and loving wife: Paula Chyanne Caughron Prouty; Daughter: Shea Frazier (Drew); Son: Lee Ivey (Lisa); Siblings: Ted Prouty (Frankie) of Virginia, Sandra Kalbaught of Florida, Jack Prouty (Gail) of Florida; Grandchildren: Lane and Isaiah Frazier, Allie and Trace Ivey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Rd., Knoxville, TN 37909. Memorial service 7 PM Friday in the chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. William Cheetham officiating. The family will receive friends 6-7PM Friday at Atchley Funeral Home.
