James Carol “Chainsaw” Icenhower, 68, of Maryville, passed away March 8, 2011, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Buford Icenhower and Vina McMillian Nichols; sisters, Margie Wheeler, Louise Williams and Wilma Icenhower; and grandchild, Kaylee. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Prince Icenhower; children, Brenda Baker and Robert Crowe, Eugene and Angie Icenhower, and Linda and Martin Sheehan; stepchildren, Jimmy Prince, and Dustin and Tabatha Swaney; sisters, Grace Irwin, and Gene and Joann Icenhower; brothers, Tom Icenhower, and Doyle and Sherry Icenhower; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospital and staff for all their help, and Annette Thompson and family. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Faith Deliverance Church on Lee Thompson Lane in Maryville with Rev. Gary Cooper officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Friday, March 11, 2011, at Williamson Chapel for a graveside service. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Memorial Funeral Home, 610 Washington Street, Maryville, TN 37804, to help with expenses.
