Leona Julia Underwood Moore Catlett obituary
- [S115] Mynatt Funeral Home, (http://ynattfh.net), 19 Feb 2010.
Buford Robert Moore (Mo) age 67 of Inskip passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010. Beloved husband, father and papaw passed away at St. Mary’s Mercy Hospice. He loved cooking and trying new foods and experiences wherever he found himself—once even on a zip line in Antigua. He loved young people and encouraged them through scouting, coaching recreational sports, BMX bicycle racing and just being a cheerleader for their activities and accomplishments. However, Bob Moore was, above all things, a man devoted to his family. Preceded in death by parents Buford and Leona Moore, stepfather Bruce Catlett; sister Wanda Roberts and brother Anderson Pete Moore. Survived by his wife of 45 years Carolyn Jean; daughter Paige Moore, sons Stacy and Chris Moore and their wives Lucinda and Kristine; grandchildren Madison, Mabry, Evan, Angelena and Emory; sister and brother-in-law Bud and Faye Hale and nieces and nephews.
His family wishes to express their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at UT Hospital and St. Mary’s Mercy Hospice who surrounded him with compassion and the very best care possible. We wish to invite all of his family and friends to join us in celebrating his life on Tuesday at 8 pm Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City, Rev. Phil Groos officiating. We hope that those who knew him will come and share their memories and stories with us. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at P. O Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38148 phone 800-822-6344 Reference: Bob Moore; or the St. Mary’s Mercy Residential Hospice at 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville. Attn: Volunteer Coordinator Reference: Buford Moore. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City.
