Resided in Knoxville, TN
Elizabeth Lett Swan left her earthly home Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 1:12 PM. Precious mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and friend. Born in Elkmont in the Smoky Mountains, (as she demanded I say; less than 100 and that's all you need to know) passed to a better place to join her parents, five brothers, two sisters, all of her aunts, uncles, life-long friends and her precious son Terry.
Left to remember her love, care and one-of-a-kind personality is her daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Marvin Plummer, precious and always loving grand-daughters Debra Gainer and Cathy Duggan, grand-son and wife Marc and Stephanie Cabage, and several loved nieces and nephews. Since she outlived almost all of her family and friends there will be a graveside remembrance for the family on Saturday, May 9, at 2 PM in Chilhowee Cemetery.
Mother lived her last years with her daughter and son-in-law where she was loved and taken care of in every possible way.
So many thanks to Avalon Hospice, especially her wonderful nurse Cathy, a true earth angel; Elizabeth Brownlee and Dr. Wayne Stuart of Seymour Medical Center, Dr. Richard Lee of Tennessee Canter Center, a caring loving doctor in mother's life. Love and thanks to bonus grand-daughters Molly Plummer and Cindy West.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to C.A.D.E.S. at Concord United Methodist Church, 11020 Roane Drive, Knoxville, TN. 37934. They were a beautiful and fantastic help and a real plus in her life for a year and a half as long as she was able to go.
With a hurting heart and a terrible feeling of loss I give up my care of her on earth to my brother in heaven to continue her love and care.
