U.S. Veteran Claude Lonzo Ivey age 62, of Newport passed away March 31, 2010. He was a veteran of the U S Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy and Dallas Ivey, and daughter Jamie Ellison. He is survived by his daughters Lisa Humphrey and husband Robert of Sevierville, and Heather Ivey of Newport; sister, Mary Sue Parton, of Pigeon Forge; grandchildren, Tyler and Whitney Humphrey, of Sevierville. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm, Friday, April 2, 2010, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Stephens officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Home National Cemetery, Johnson City, Tennessee at 1 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. prior to the services on Friday.
