Ida Lynn Brooks Huffaker, age 80 of Kodak, died Sunday, November 6, 2005 at her home. She was born November 23, 1924. She was retired from Sevier Industries and previously worked for Standard Knitting Mill in Knoxville. Ida was raised in the Thorngrove Community of Knox County. She was a member of Kodak United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by husband: Trent Hodges (Bud) Huffaker; parents: Joe (Frosty) and Hattie Hickman Brooks; mother and father-in-law Emert and Flora Huffaker; brother: J. Elmer (Toad) Brooks; brothers-in-law: A.L. Bailey, Jr.; George Garrett; Jimmy C Huffaker, Vaughn Huffaker and E. Mitchell Whaley; niece Jeannie Huffaker;

Funeral service 7 PM Tuesday at Kodak United Methodist Church with Rev. Rowland Buck, Dr. Bruce Marsten, and Rev. Fred Dearing officiating. Interment 11 AM Wednesday in Beech Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Kent Thomas, Norman Thomas, Jerry Hightower, Dennis Roeder, Randy Huffaker, Keith Brooks, Jim Norris and Jim Shepherd.
