Eva Aileen Tarwater Gibson, age 96 of Seymour, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home. Eva retired from Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy after 13 years of service. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave A. Gibson, son-in-law, Ben Wiley McCarter, parents, Issac and Mattie Tarwater, brothers Earnest, Pete, and Winfred Tarwater, sister, Ruby Gibson and twin sister Neva Brewer.

Son and Daughter-in-law: Jim and Betty Gibson
Daughter: Glenda McCarter
Grandchildren: Patti and John Hite, Kristi and Billy Alam, Ronnie and Kylie McCarter
Great Grandchildren: Aubrey McCarter, Bipol Alam, Madeline and Avery Hite, and Lily-Mae McCarter
