Lawson and the granddaughter of Martha Fern Catlett and the late Walker R. Catlett and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lawson. She is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She is employed at East Tennessee Children's Hospital as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Vantrease and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Vantrease and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carmon Morrow. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He is employed at Clayton Bank as an assistant trust officer. After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Knoxville.
